So much easier to find them later (through Drive), share them with other people, and sync them to your phone. (Search is something Google is good at.) Google Documentsĭocs is a much better place to write documents than Word or Pages. I know Microsoft and Apple do that too but Drive is better. (See Google Docs.) The big thing for me is being able to search Drive and find documents later. Mostly though I use Drive to collect and order all the documents I’m writing. You can store files on Drive too and it is good for that. ![]() Plus you don’t have to worry about your computer going down and losing the lot. They’re always there for you no matter what device you use. (They’re often easy to use, useful and work well – including syncing across your devices.) Dropbox That’s cos Google is good at productivity tools. You’ll see in this section quite a few tools from Google. If there are any tools I haven’t included that you couldn’t live without please let me know. No doubt there’s a few here you already know but maybe there are others you didn’t know about that might give you that extra lift. I’ve tried to keep it to essentials – as this tool thing can get a bit overwhelming. There are a lot of online business tools out there.
